Banana Bread Latte with Brown Sugar Butter Syrup

Ingredients
- 2 cupswhole milk
- 1 ripe bananabanana, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract

- 1 tablespoonunsalted butter
- 3 tablespoonsbrown sugar
- 1/4 cupheavy cream
- 1 teaspooninstant espresso powder

How to make it
Combine butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and set aside for syrup.
Pour milk into a medium saucepan and heat until steaming, about 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
Add sliced banana, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the hot milk. Whisk gently to combine.
Dissolve instant espresso powder in 2 tablespoons hot water, then add to the milk mixture and stir well.
Pour heavy cream into the saucepan and stir until fully incorporated. Heat for 1-2 minutes until frothy.
Pour banana bread latte into serving mugs, dividing evenly between 2 cups.
Drizzle brown sugar butter syrup over each latte and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
