Classic Beef Burger
A proper homemade beef burger: juicy patty, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato and a good sauce. Simple, satisfying and always the right call.
Ingredients
- 500gground beef
- 1onion, finely diced
- 2 clovesgarlic, minced
- 30gbreadcrumbs
- 1egg
- 5mlWorcestershire sauce
- 5gsalt
- 2gblack pepper
- 4hamburger buns
- 2 leaveslettuce
- 2 slicestomato
- 2 slicespickles
- 15mlvegetable oil
How to make it
Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl
Form mixture into 4 equal patties approximately 1cm thick
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 71°C
Toast hamburger buns lightly in the skillet
Assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles and patties on buns
Serve immediately while warm
