- 500gfresh collard greens, chopped
- 3garlic cloves, minced
- 1medium onion, diced
- 3 tablespoonsEthiopian spiced butter (niter kibbeh)
- 1 teaspoonginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoonberbere spice
- 1/4 teaspoonsalt
- 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
- 1/4 cupwater
How to make it
Step 1—
Melt the niter kibbeh in a large skillet over medium heat

Add diced onion and sauté for 2 minutes until softened

Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant

Add berbere spice, salt, and black pepper, mix well

Add chopped collard greens and stir to coat with the spiced butter
