Garlic Butter Chicken Stir Fry
A weeknight hero: tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and a glossy garlic butter sauce that comes together in one pan in under 30 minutes. Serve over rice and dinner is done.
Ingredients
- 500gchicken breast, cubed
- 6garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoonsbutter
- 2bell peppers, sliced
- 200gbroccoli florets
- 1 mediumonion, sliced
- 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
- 1 tablespoonsesame oil
- 1 teaspoonginger, minced
- 1red chili, sliced
- 2 tablespoonscornstarch
- salt and pepperto taste
How to make it
Pat chicken dry and coat with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to the wok.
Stir-fry minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add onion, bell peppers, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return chicken to the wok.
Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture. Toss well to combine.
Add red chili and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
